Six Flags’ “skyline” is changing — Dallas Demolition Company toppled the 200-foot Texas Chute Out parachute ride today in preparation for the Texas SkyScreamer, the world’s tallest swing ride at 400 feet. That ride will swing you up to 35 mph in a 124-foot-wide circle (Photo: Tom Fox/Staff Photographer). Are you sad to see the parachutes go, or was it time for something new and bigger?
Update: Watch video of the implosion here.
