You didn’t watch the Dallas premiere? Well, 7 million other people did, making it the most popular show on TV last night: TNT’s crowing over the big numbers: 6,863,000 viewers dialed in last night, making Dallas the No. 1 scripted cable-series premiere in 2012.
In related news, yesterday the Dallas City Council voted to pay Warner Horizon $1.2 million over the next six seasons should TNT renew the Dallas reboot. But given last night’s ratings, we’d expect a re-up … well, any second.
