Dallas is very superficial. I’ve always said ‘beautiful city, shitty people.’ Rude, fat, vain, know-it-alls … back in the ’60s it was dubbed the ‘city of hate.’ This is coming from a person who’s been here half his life, with the other half spent in wonderful cities like Austin, New Orleans, San Francisco and Mazatlan, Mexico.
And here’s our second and final set of our FB likers’ Instagram photo submissions: A second tranquil picture near Celina by @jessicaoseay; @mardz84 sent another representing West Dallas, of kids levee-sledding; a bright blue and white shot of Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge by @oliviasmith98; and a ping-pong ball cammo’d among last week’s ping-pong ball-sized hail by @anteezy. — Thanks to you IG users who submitted pictures from your neck of the D-FW woods!
Our Facebook likers shared their Instagram pics of Big D. Clockwise from top left: Picture of a code 3 run in the middle of Wednesday’s freakish hailstorm by @zdkrempin, a mean lookin’ West Dallas bike gang by @mardz84, a peaceful shot near Celina by @jessicaoseay, and a pic from Bachman Lake by @mrs_chapa.
